Reliance Industries, L&T Ltd, ReNew and Waaree are among the 14 companies that have bid for incentives under India's National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM). This list is for the second round of incentives offered by the Union government for setting up green hydrogen production units in India.
The set of bids were opened by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and released late in the evening on December 9. For this, SECI on July 11 this year had issued the tender for tranche-II of green hydrogen incentive under the NGHM for 450,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) of green hydrogen.
The other companies that have bid for the incentive under Tranche II are AM Green Ammonia (India) Private Limited, ChemSepT Engineering Private Limited, Avaada GreenH2 Private Limited, GH2 Solar Private Limited, Green Infra Renewable Energy Farms Private Limited, Matrix Gas and Renewables Limited, Nishal Enterprises Private Limited, Ocior Energy India Private Limited, Oriana Power Limited, Suryadeep KA1 Project Private Limited.
The final list of winners of the incentive under Tranche II for green hydrogen production is expected by January, 2025.
For this tranche (Mode 1), the government has capped incentives at Rs 50 per kg in the first year of production, Rs 40 per kg in the second year and Rs 30 per kg in the third year of production.
