: ACME Cleantech has signed a Heads of Agreement with BASF tosupply green ammonia to Europe and a Memorandum of Understanding to explore further collaboration in the green ammonia business.
This partnership aligns with our commitment to sustainability and innovation, covering the entire value chain from production to market development By enabling our customers to produce more sustainably, we are driving positive change and setting a benchmark for sustainable industrial practices in Europe and the rest of the world,” the company said in a social me media post on Friday.
It added that with BASF, the firm plans to drive cross-border collaboration,reinforce both region’s commitment to decarbonisation, and accelerate the adoption of green hydrogen and ammonia.
In March this year, the Acme Cleantech signed a firm and binding agreement with Norway’s Yara, a global leader in ammonia trade and shipping,for supply of ammonia with reduced CO2 emissions on a long-term basis.
ACME is already setting up a green ammonia project in Oman with a planned 900,00 tonne per annum capacity to be developed in phases.
The company aims to become a leading green energy provider in the world by 2030 and produce 10 million tonnes per annum of green ammonia and hydrogen.
